I was commissioned to design the placemats for El Vermut, a new Spanish bar in Southeast London. Materials were sourced from vintage vermouth adverts and labels from items served in the bar. I made the design in one day, and the client was extremely pleased with the final product. They have kept the design since opening in June 2018 for marketing and web content.

 

This was my final project when I studied illustration at college. I chose to make a picture book of the poem ‘You’re Beautiful’ by Simon Armitage.
